About this service:
I offer online counselling and psychotherapy to adults and my practice is based on the Person-Centred approach.
As a person-centred therapist, my aim is to help you explore your feelings, thoughts, and experiences which can lead to better understanding and acceptance of yourself and others. I hold the belief that each person has the capacity and desire for self-growth and change, given the right conditions. Rather than me being the expert who will direct the therapy, I will offer you empathy, honesty, respect, acceptance, and a safe space to talk without feeling judged. This will help you come to terms with any negative feelings and the opportunity to change and develop in your own way, using your own strengths and insight. You are the expert of yourself and the one that knows what is best for you. Every person is unique and, therefore, I trust your view of your own world, and the ability to manage it. I believe that you have the power to find the best solutions for yourself and make the appropriate changes in your life. I am here as an equal human being, to facilitate this process, by walking alongside you on your journey.

Why online counselling?
Although online counselling is not for everyone, it has several advantages when compared with in-person therapy.
It is more convenient and more accessible
It is less intimidating
It enables you to have a greater sense of control and safety, as you can attend sessions from your desired place
It allows you to feel more comfortable opening-up
However, online therapy is not recommended for more serious psychiatric illnesses.
